Cross Shaft Universal Coupling

Cross Shaft Universal Coupling

Connects two shafts not in a straight line. Used in rolling mills, mining equipment, cranes. Transmits torque, compensates angle misalignment.

Product Introduction

Two types. Cross Shaft Universal Coupling has bolt-free design – bearings fixed without bolts. Rotation diameter 100-620mm, torque 1.25-1000 kN·m, working angle 15-25°. SWP has split bearing housing, fixed with bolts. Rotation diameter 160-640mm, torque 16-1250 kN·m, working angle 5-10°. We make both.

Product Parameters

SWC: rotation diameter 100-620mm, torque 1.25-1000 kN·m, angle 15-25°, bolt-free.
SWP: rotation diameter 160-640mm, torque 16-1250 kN·m, angle 5-10°, split bearing housing.

Advantages

Cross Shaft Universal Coupling handles large angle misalignment – up to 25°. Transmission efficiency 98%-99.8%. One-piece fork design – no bolt shearing risk. SWP handles higher torque – about 25% more than SWC at same diameter. Running noise below 85dB for both types.

Packaging & Logistics

Cross Shaft Universal Coupling Main body wrapped in stretch film, then plywood export case. Small parts packed separately. Lead time 25-35 days for standard sizes. Sea or air freight available. Common sizes in stock.

FAQ

Q: How often to add grease?

A: Every 3 months of running time with lithium grease. For continuous heavy load, shorten to 2 months.

Q: How to choose between SWC and SWP?

A: If misalignment angle over 10°, pick SWC. If angle under 10° but higher torque needed, pick SWP. Tell us your motor power and speed – we calculate the torque.

Q: Can worn fork be replaced?

A: Yes. Fork, cross shaft, bearings – all have separate spare parts. Delivery 15-20 days.
