GL Type Chain Coupling
GL type chain coupling uses a double-strand roller chain to connect two shafts. It is common on conveyors, mixers, and other light to medium duty machines.
Product Introduction
The coupling has two sprockets and one double-strand roller chain. The chain wraps around both sprockets. This design allows some misalignment and absorbs light shock loads. Sprockets are made from 45# steel or 40Cr. Teeth are induction hardened to 45-50 HRC. The chain is GL type chain coupling, widely available and inexpensive to replace.

Advantages
Simple construction makes disassembly and reassembly easy. Replacing the chain is low cost. The coupling handles minor vibration and shock without issue. At low speeds (below 500 rpm), no lubrication is required. For higher speeds, add a grease fitting and lubricate every three months.
Packaging & Logistics
Sprockets are oil-paper wrapped and sealed in plastic bags. Chain packed separately. All components go into a plywood export case. Lead time for standard bores is 15 to 25 days. Common sizes are kept in stock. Sea or air freight available.
